    Help please!

My site is down, I really need help. When I go to login its fine, after I try to log in, it says this.

User 'creative' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 50000)

What does that mean? is it a server problem or the php script?

Firstly, it's very important that you read this (in particular, number 2), since if you go to any forum expecting help and don't read/follow the common courtesy guidelines you're likely to leave empty handed.

As for the error, I think (I'm not entirely sure but a quick google or a word with your host should confirm this) that the error is related to the number of database queries made through your site within a period of time. It's used to prevent massive resource usage/waste.

The only solution I know of is to speak to your host and request that they reset/increase the limit and then look at your code to figure out why it's generating so many queries. It could be that you have some looped code that's sending too many queries or something similar. It's also possible that the problem is with the server I guess, but I'm not too hot on server tech.

What is wrong with my post? I didn't break any rules. This forum is for help and questions and thats what I did. Im following guildlines. I figured it was a php problem so this is the thread I put it in.

I talked to my host, they said 50000 is the limit, and the server stops all traffic when its met, until another user closes. I guess its time to hardcore check coding.

Well let me just point out guideline #2 then:

    2) Type in a subject that summarizes your question- A great way to turn off other members wanting to help you is to type an incomplete or silly subject for your post. Examples of poor subject titles include:

    - "Help!"
    - "I'm a newbie...be gentle"
    - "How can I..."
    - "Urgent...deadline tomorrow!"

The above subjects either have absolutely nothing to do with the question itself, or are grossly incomplete (ie: "How can I..."). When asking for help, enter a subject that summarizes your question, period! Don't use silly, incomplete, or "bait" subjects. Some examples of good titles are:

    - "How do I round a number to 2 decimal places using JavaScript?"
    - "What's the difference between require() and include() in PHP?"
    - "Can someone suggest a good, free HTML editor?"
Now here is the title of your thread "Help Please!" Any more questions?
