    posting to text files

    Ok, i dont know if this goes into MYSQL forum or this one, but does/can a form post info into a text file to be called by MYSQL.

    This belongs in the forum of whichever server side language you are using. (PHP?)

    You could set up the form to submit to a script which writes 'name=>value' pairs to the text file. Then when you want it added to the database you would have to run another script which reads the txt, takes the variables and runs them through an SQL insert statement.
