    new ssi on mouseover

on my page, programmed in php, i have several buttons on the left and one ssi on the right. This ssi contains text and two pics related to the buttons. Now I would like to have the entire ssi change dynamically when i rollover one of the buttons. Is that possible?
    Best regards

when you say `ssi` do you mean data from a php include() or require ?

if not then no since PHP is server-side and your buttons reside on the client, if your included page is in an iframe or frame then yes you can reload that frame but thats a HTML or javascript issue not a PHP one.

(though you may pass info to the PHP page via the url ... e.g. onmouseover="document.framename.src='php_page.php?file=filename';" etc)
    resistance is...

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)
