    Wondering about variables..

Just wondering, everyone who gives help here gives variables the old way. Such as: $variable instead of $_variable. I thought in all the newer (or newest) version of PHP all variables are supposed to start with the underscore?

I think your referring to the global variables using POST and GET and the like.

    I.e

    Old way: $myVar
(can be used for post, get, and session)

    New way: $_POST['myVar'] or $_GET['myVar'] or $_SESSION['myVar']
    (more secure)
