When re-sizing my PHP website on Mobile device it has a gray transparent border
When re-sizing my PHP website on Mobile device (i.e. Windows 8 phone or other mobile device) there is a gray border (that is transparent) but when I make the size smaller to read more of the text on the screen, the gray border stays the original size and overlays the text I am trying to read.
Is there a way for me to remove this gray "outline" from the PHP site so that when I re-size on a mobile device this outline doesn't still exist and cause the website to be hard or annoying to read. I have attached a screen shot for review.
I have uploaded a screen shot of the image to OneDrive showing the gray outline and then the text from the page (when its re-sized to be smaller so that I can read the rest of the pages text) outside of the gray "transparent box".
I am not sure what CSS or other issue this may be as I inherited this site but any help would be sincerely appreciated.
Is there a way I can remove this gray box a I do not want it to appear.
I have attached the screen shot and added a link to OneNote to view it there as well.
Screen shot of what the page looks like on a Windows 8 phone with the gray box around it when I re-size the page to make it smaller to be able to read all the text:
