Save web page to PDF then email

    Hi all,

Sorry, I've posted this in the JavaScript forum but I fear this may be a PHP related question

I was wondering if anyone knew of a script that saves a web page to PDF and emails it out.

It's for an MIS system we use at work. We'd like to email an order confirmation to customers by just clicking a "Send" type of button.

So we'd like it to either save it to PDF and automatically put it into an email, or skip the saving part and just convert it into a PDF and put it into an email

Does anyone know of a script that can do this?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards
    Ryan

Yes, this is a PHP question ...
It sounds like your system at work may not be able to execute PHP scripts?

You would use FPDF to dynamically create the PDF file, save it temporarily, attach to email, and then delete (or save) the original PDF.

    http://www.fpdf.org/

Click on their 'scripts' link and see some examples. And FPDF is free. It does require coding to make it work. Maybe you can find an example they have this is sort of close to what you are trying to do, and then customize it?
