    I need help with Prochatrooms.com script

    Hey y'all I'm new here.

    I just wanted to see if I could get some help with Prochatrooms.com script. I bought it and after following the instructions for installation I get this error message on the main page of my site.

    167
    Fatal error: Call to a member function prepare() on a non-object in /home/content/52/11965852/html/includes/functions.php on line 3137

    Does anyone know what the problem is?

    The error indicates that an object was incorrectly constructed or passed and an attempt to call a function on it has failed. It is possibly the mysqli object type.
    This: functions.php on line 3137 is the script and line it occurs on, but given the length of this script you'll need to go back to the company for answers; nobody will debug a 3100+ line script for you.
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');

    Okay, thanks. I can only hope someone that has used Prochatrooms script will ponder through this thread. I don't see why I need to face a fatal error message after I bought the script for $55 and followed installation procedures.

    If its what I think it is, its an incorrectly constructed prepared statement for a SQL table. That would indicate the code doesn't jive with the structure of the dbms.
    Unfortunately, the easiest solution is still to contact the company for support.

    Yeah, I'm not sure what it was, but I was able to get it to work. I did nothing, but wipe the server clean, re-download the files, and follow the same prompts. Of course this time something entirely different happened. At the screen where it shows if everything installed correctly it had a few things install, and other things fail. I just went straight to the admin area and logged in. It was a miracle, really. I hope it doesn't give on me. Thanks for trying to help.
