    depends what you mean by 'connect' , you can location.href='myfile.php' to redirect there or you may want to use ajax to connect to a php script and return a value... need more information please.
    resistance is...

    MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)

    ok so i assume that ur php file contains the js script where the validation takes place and furhter input displyed.

    so the form tag must contain the page name, e.g.

    <form method="post" name="contact_form" action="displaypage.php" >

    so weneva someone clicks submit button it goes to displaypage.php for ur validation itself. If validation k then it stays on the same page and process input display. whereas if validation failed then redirected to the form page.
