    Post [PHP] Open new window for update

    hi.. im newbie here..
    need help on how to put my javascript to my php coding.

    my javascript is a window pop up which allow the data from opener can see also in new window pop up.

    i can post my screen shot here for reference.
    i need some codes on how to work on it.
    please kindly help.

    send item id to url of popup window...pop window must have same db access as main window to get information then place in form.

    It can be done loading the form using the $_GET["whatever"] operator in the pop up;

    HOWEVER I stopped using this because popups do not work the same in all browsers, they get blocked, and the browser world is changing every day, frankly just a pain in the ***.

    I recommend using a <div> tag and have your form pop in just below the record you want to update. Works well for me, and will minimize user support
