Email Alert When .php page has been updated
Good Morning All -
I need to have an email alert sent to users (who submit their emails) when a site page (.php) is updated.
I tried ChangeDetection service which works but I'm told it needs to be simpler (apparently signing in is too much to ask for our users).
Is there a code/script that I can use to have alerts sent to an editable list of email addresses whenever a page is updated?
Thanks all in advance!

how is the page updated ? manually ? FTP or is it generated via an admin scrpt etc, or do you mean just when some page content or updated via an admin interface...
for anything but the manual/FTP option you would just add a script to whichever routine regenerates the page content so wherever the call is made to update a relevant DB item include() a script to send the email ?
MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)
