mail() change the recieved from text ?

    Just curious but can the

Received: from [account name] by [servers dns] with local (Exim 4.80)

in emails sent from the website be changed?

I haave figured out how to change the envelope-from so it shows the actual email address it is sent from instead of the servers default account username i.e. myaccountusername@serverDNS.com

but wanted to completely remove all reference to my host and only have my own domain shown in the email headers.

    can this be done ?

I don't think removal of those headers is possible unless you have direct access to the mail server configuration. The headers are added by the mail server not php. PHP just passes the mail to the server and once that is done php has no control over it.
