    Question Ajax Php Contact Form

Hi, I've used an Ajax Php Contact form using phpmailer on a new website I'm creating and it seems to work fine but then it doesn't. Throughout the trials I've done it sends the e-mail which I receive with everything looking great, and it will work a few times but all of a sudden i try it again and then it gives an error message saying it can't send it. I'm not sure if this is some sort of spam protection blocking continuous messages from the same sender, I've tried and got the same problem working from a different computer but on the same internet connection. Can someone please shed some light on this? I have searched endlessly for hours and hours and found no other references to this sort of action. Please help......someone. Thnx in advance.

It's probably something along those lines. Email in general is pretty finicky. Your best results for delivery will be from sending email through an SMTP account hosted with a trusted sender.

Hi, thank you for the reply, I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but it is using SMTP authentication. If that's not what you mean please elaborate. I understand css and html but not much about php, etc. Thanks.

That's what I mean. When you get the error do you see the email listed in the sent mail folder of the SMTP account you're using? If not you may just be running in to a throttle process your email host is using to prevent mass mailing/SPAM.

I'm using the contact form on a website so that the users can send contact me. So when I test it I am sending myself an e-mail basically. But its not made for me to send out e-mails instead for me to receive them from visitors to the site. When the error shows the messages also are not sent.
