    Save page as image

After tons of research, I can not get this to work.

Goal: To take a screenshot of a webpage, and so I can echo it back to my website, screen shot must be same size as actually page (no thumbnails)

Who ever can pull this off, i'll gladly send you over some bitcoins

Do you run your site on your own server? If not, you'll need to pay for a screenshot remote service. To do this yourself requires server-run software.

Or are you talking about an executable program on your PC?

A few I know about and some extras I was able to find.. not quite sure if any of them will be able to give you a full 1:1 screen size snapshot but I imagine they should let you define the size...
    - khtml2png
    - CutyCapt
    - python-webkit2png
    - imagemagick

And then there's a paid service called linkpeek.

I think you've missed the point.. the op WANTS to do this on their on server / website and is asking for help to do it

Sorry ... I'm viewing this on a Kindle ... the part about the OP using a server doesn't show up on my screen. My bad.

With the shared webhosts I've used, they don't offer any ways to do dynamic screenshots on a website (on-the-fly).

Shared hosts are a pain in the grass as they often disable all sorts of stuff. I was working on one site recently where the host doesn't even allow disk access - yes, you got that right, you couldn't move file uploads, delete files, write files etc. It made life very depressing as the back end coder..

I think the op needs to clarify exactly what they mean to be honest as it could be seen several ways.
