    Question Url Encryption Through Mysql Database

    I had an idea, but I am not sure it will work. Is it possible, and can it be done. I want to store an ip address inside a mysql database, and have it be displayed inside a webpage such as an applet, except the information displayed on the webpage will be encrypted and the java applet will still be able to load reading it as an ip address.. So the php applet will look like this:

    PHP Code:
     <applet name="DigiChat"
    codebase="http://<?php echo '$Ip Address';?>/DigiChat/DigiClasses/"
    code="com.diginet.digichat.client.DigiChatApplet"
    width="0" height="0" align="MIDDLE"
    archive="client.jar">
                <param name="siteID" value="1000">
                <param name="cabbase" value="Client.cab">
                <param name="background" value="ffffff">
                <param name="textcolor" value="000000">
                <param name="nickname" value="Th3 J0k3r">
              </applet>
    When the ip is stored on the webpage it will display some kind of encryption like this:

    Code:
    %64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%3f%70%68%70%20%65%63%68%6f%20%5c%27%24%49%70%20%41%64%64%72%65%73%73%5c%27%3b%3f%3e%27%29%3b
    Or something where it is html passable...

    Thanks in advanced guys!

    I know nothing about java and this is the wrong place for asking about it (See below)
    But I can visualize this being done in php and using ajax to keep the url secret. So I would say "yes, it can be done."
