    Sessions and PHP

    Hi, me and some friends are about to embark on PHP as I did my dissertation on the speed differences (and other adv/disadv) of using different server-side technologies... PHP was almost the quickest along side JSP - we've decided on PHP

    We want to be able to use sessions to cater for users who don't like/don't want cookies and so make it a trivial thing if users have cookies switched off.

    So tell me and my "ignorance"... is it possible? small example would be appreciated.

    Thx

    Yeah, sessions are possible

    http://www.php.net/session

    Quick example

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    session_start
    ();
    $_SESSION['username'] = "Username";
    ?>
