    upload progress bar

    Hi i ran accross this

    I know its alittle old but i assume its still valid, i like the setup here but i really dont have access to the server root in order to install wamp, and honestly i would prefer not to install wamp if i can get away from it.

    So im wondering if there is another hook other than APC_UPLOAD_PROGRESS that already exists in the out of the box php install that i can reference to accomplish the same task.

    It isn't WINAMP that's mentioned in the article it is WAMP which is Apache, MySQL and PHP and if you have a hosting account those things are already going to be there. But there are a number of more "modern" alternatives available. A couple from a quick Google search are:

    my mistake your quite right, i meant to type wamp not winamp sorry. Huge difference lol.. i corrected it.

    After much thought, i decided to go with a simple hidden onclick show div text routine.


    I did however find this link below very interesting and may try this one day, the session values look very handy indeed.
