    Weird Content truncation?!?!

    Hey,

i have a CMS system. You add pages using a form. The content field which houses the content for the page (inc. html) is stored in a mysql DB with the field type LONGBLOB (2^32 -1 chars). However, at a certain point the text is not inserted into the DB. It will only let you enter a certain amount of chars before it ignores the rest. why is this? i have no limit on the field and the DB limit hasnt been reached??? is there a limit to how much data can be send under 1 php variable? or a limit to how much can be sent via POST? why is it being truncated??

    Thanks
