    Community HELP !

    Hey there, i'm new to this forum and i'm quite new to php, i guess i can do some stuff tho.....what i am trying to create is a small community like www.proximaproject.com

    But a little bit simplier.........
    Anyone want to help ?

    What you have in mind for your "small" community site isn't that small at all. Even for experienced PHP developer it will take some time to implement all the features you listed. Here's my tip: Much of what you wrote comes with basic packages of various CMS systems done in PHP. Maybe you can save yourself time by reusing what others have developed and do some customization.

    Perhaps you should also cut a little back on your feature list, to prevent frustration when coding motivation is slowing down. My experience tells me that focusing on the most basic version is favorable, new features can always added later. It's always easier to make big plans than to carray them out, especially so if you're not the one doing the hard work...

    Since the focus of your community site seems to be on graphics, I'll point you to a very advanced gallery application that should give you a quick start:
