    Creating Members?

I am very new to PHP, and I would like to have a website with members, and the members have access to areas that other people don't. I have managed to create a login page for my members, but I have no clue how to make the computer recognize the person until they log out. All I know is that it has something to do with "session" or "cookie" or both, and possibly some MySql (I don't even know what MySql is, sorry for my lack of knowledge ). Can someone please either help me with this or guide me to some sort of good, up-to-date tutorial I can take?

    Thanks in advance!

I would advise you to have a look at tutorials and actually learn the language before attempting do something which can get quite complex. There are many resources on the internet which can help you and get guide you in the right way, such as:

    Tizag

Have a look through there and you'll get a better understanding of what you're actually asking xD. Wanting something doesn't mean you should jump straight into it, you may have a login system but releasing it to the web and gathering from what you've told me so far I would assume you haven't even secured your login system from potential hackers, who could destroy you member system in minutes if not properly secured.
