PHP resides on your server, so the client machine can't alter it. So if you use PHP's date() function, you can rely on it to not be changed by the user.

Lol, I got a negative rep for editing my post when someone has replied?

I didn't see the reply until after I edited it.
As you can see the time edited and time you posted are 5:40 AM.
And the only reason I edited it was because I figured it out on my own and didn't want anyone to waste their time to reply!

So thanks for giving me a negative rep for me doing good for the forum, and to show that you're embarrassed of your reply after I've edited it.

I didn't ding your rep, but maybe now I will

FYI the reason someone dinged you is probably because it's considered rude to remove the original question. This forum can be a valuable research tool-- Many people find the answers they're looking for simply by searching through old posts. When you remove the original question, you destroy the value of the post to anyone else who might have a similar question 6 months from now.

I rarely post a question I have because I search first, and usually find several times my question was asked, and answered.
