    One Classifieds to another

Ok I didn't know if this should go here or in ASP forum since this old site is in ASP, but I want to migrate to something else.

I have this site that is pretty old, misuperguia.com. I originally bought this program called rapid classifieds (www.4u2ges.com) and hosted it on a windows hosting system. I would like to move away from this software to a PHP and MySQL based system. Two questions, one more indepth than the other. One which system for this classifieds would you recommend using based in PHP, that would have these and more features. This is pretty old so most now adays would be loaded with a lot more features.

Second, how in the world do I migrate it? This would be part of the other question. When picking new software to run this site with I need something that would allow importing classified listing and probably category listings so I don't have to recreate everything. Even though if the database structure of the other program is simple enough and not too many XREF tables I could do it manually in phpMyAdmin probably using a flat csv file. But that means I would need a way to convert it to CSV from access, as you will see below.

Since this old site is in SQL it only allows me to export into Access. Any ideas and thoughts?

Thanks for any help you can give me with this.

Check hotscripts.com and sourceforge.net for classified scripts. You can probably find one to suit you...but it's 99% likely you'll either manually have to export the data or write your own script to do so - probably won't be any super easy way to do that.

Well I checked both and found noah, which I also used a long time ago.

I kind of figured that I would have to export and import manually but thought there might be an easier way. Thanks for the info.
