    Post Email with your name showing

    Is it possible to send an email and the receiver to get your Name or something else in the place of my email address?

    I have an email function that works perfectly, but the receiver always gets my email address as sender, which I would have prefered to get a Name or something instead.

    PHP Code:
            $to $email;

    $nameto "Who To";

    $from "admin_evoting@lavabit.com";

    $namefrom "Who From";

    authSendEmail($from$namefrom$to$nameto$subject$body);
    can I change this somehow and achieve that?
    If u want all the code, then just tell me

    PHP Code:
    $from "admin_evoting@lavabit.com"
    to this?

    PHP Code:
    $from "Bob White"
    Rowsdower! has accused me of having mental problems, and the administrator allowed it. What a great forum huh?

    Function use the address in $from to specify the sender actually.
    So the address is needed.
    What I am looking for is a way to send it and the receiver not to get my mail address or get it in form of a name.

    Is there somway to specify it?
    like

    PHP Code:
    $from="Achilleas<admin_evoting@lavabit.com>"
    I think its womewhere those line, but it doesnt work, since the mail client doesnt regognize it.

    Maybe this will be able to help someone else too.
    PHP Code:
            $to $email;

    $nameto "Who To";

    $from "admin_evoting@lavabit.com";

    $namefrom "Achilleas Philippides";

    authSendEmail($from$namefrom$to$nameto$subject$body);
    And inside Function:

    PHP Code:
    //This one send the email address as sender
    fputs($smtpConnect"To: $to\nFrom: $from\nSubject: $subject\n$headers\n\n$body\n.\n");

    //This one sends name Achilleas Philippides in the place of email address
    fputs($smtpConnect"To: $to\nFrom: $namefrom <$from>\nSubject: $subject\n$headers\n\n$body\n.\n");
