    Exclamation PHP OOP - Why do people serialize objects?

    I was reading the manual at php.net, and I'm wondering why do people serialize object? What's the purpose? Why do they do this?

    Serialization is used for easily storing an objects current state for use at a later time, such as passing an object between sessions, saving it into a database table and so on
