    php live update?

Im wondering if php has any functions/capabilities of live updates?

An example would be if some information in a column changed, could php get that information and display it?

I know that useing a regular while loop would not work becouse php runs all the information before displaying it. But perhaps their is a specific function for this?

    does anyone know??

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.
