Hi All,

Ok i am having a bit of trouble with my php page
http://www.kernow-connect.com/entertainmentPCtest.php

now it doesn't happen all of the time but mostly PM for some strange reason but the above page will look like it has loaded but the loading icon on the tab strip keeps animaing and in the taskbar it says something like waiting for an image to load even thought all the images have loaded on the page.

i have checked the validator and its fine no errors

i also checked the sitereportcard checker here

and i have 40 html warnings which all say:
Warning: <a> escaping malformed URI reference

in the followng code
Code:
	$itemdata = "SELECT *
	FROM category_data
	WHERE page_category = 'Entertainment'
	AND cat_id = '$category_list[$cat_count]'
	AND subcat_id = '$subcategory_list[$sub_count]'";

	$item_query=mysql_query($itemdata);
	$num_rows = mysql_num_rows($item_query);

		if ($num_rows == 0){
			echo "No Results Please Go Back And Try Again";
		}
		  else {
   			while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($item_query)){
			$short_title = preg_replace("/#\d: |\s*\(.*\)|\s*\[.*\]/U", "", $row['title']);
			$short_title=htmlentities($short_title);
			?>

			<div class="item">

			<div class="itemIMG">
            <img src="<?php print $row['image'] ?>"
            alt="<?php print $short_title ?>"
            title="<?php print $short_title ?>"
            height="90" />
            </div>

			<div class="itemTitle"><?php print $short_title ?> </div>
			<div class="itemButton">
			<a href="http://www.kernow-connect.com/results.php?title=<?php print $short_title ?>">
			<img src="images/
compare.gif"
			alt="<?php print $short_title ?>"
			title="<?php print $short_title ?>" border="0" />
			</a>
			</div>
			</div>
			<?php
		 	}
with this line causing the warnings:
Code:
			<a href="http://www.kernow-connect.com/results.php?title=<?php print $short_title ?>">
			<img src="images/compare.gif"
			alt="<?php print $short_title ?>"
			title="<?php print $short_title ?>" border="0" />
			</a>
this is a real strange problem and only seems to affect FF, IE loads ok all the time just firefox i have trouble with occasionally?

any ideas why this may be happening?

many thanks
Luke
