keep any changes visible in form without submiting

    Hi all,
there are two forms in my page, the first one controls some text fields and the second one is for uploading images.

What I need to do is to keep any changes made to the text fields of the first form, still visible, after the user has submitted the second form.

If the user submits the second form, the page refreshes, and all possible changes made in the first form are lost.
Can I just keep those changes visible without submitting them to the database? I mean submitting both forms is not a solution for me.

Can you help me here? Do I have to use php for this or maybe javascript?

I'm not very exeprienced in PHP, but I'm guessing the script would be alot like the "Remember Me" check box on various logins.

You could use global session variables like:

    PHP Code:
session_start();//this goes on top of page
    $_SESSION['name'] = $name
