    restrict script access?

I want to give a friend of mine access to my web server. I know how to let him upload and all that, it's just that I don't really trust the scripts he's uploading. He knows even less PHP than I do and I'm afraid he might accidentally delete something. How can I restrict the scripts he uses? I want him to be able to manipulate files, but only within the folder I specify as his. I'm not sure how this will be done, so don't get upset with me if this is a http server question. Thanks.

    (using apache1.3.26/PHP4.2.2)

Most secure way I guess would be to change some settings in the http.conf file. No idea what you change though, never done it before.

Not a very good answer but I'm sure someone will be more detailed

    Download Invision Power File Manager

Heaps of restrictions. So you can make sure he only accesses a directory etc.
