Looking for someone to help me with my PHP.

Hey guys, I'm new here (just signed up) and need some help with my PHP. I can code very basic PHP like register forms/application forms but I really want to move on from this. Is there anybody who would give up some time to help guide me and teach me some good PHP? If so please post below and I'll PM you with my msn address

    Thankyou.

It's easier if you decide on something you want to make, then try and figure it out yourself. If you get completely stuck, then ask for advice on what to do. So you can do forms ok? How about then moving onto a guestbook? Then after the simple guestbook, make it so you have to register first before you can sign. Then after that, make it so there's different catagories you can post in... see where I'm going with this? Afterwards, you will have coded your very own forum. Then there'd be things like anti-spam measures to create, PM functions, making posts editable by the user, banning perimissions etc etc.

Thankyou ever so much for that wonderful advice! I probably could make a guest book thinking about it! I have tried to build a login/register script, the register script works (submits the information to a database) but on the login it doesn't want to log them in so I'm stuck on that part :P Yep I see where you're going! A basic forum would be great if I can master the skills to code it

I was gonna say the same thing

I can't learn php or any other language any other way,
i've been doing stuff with mysql and php together and it can get pretty complicated,
so sometimes i google a comand for the correct syntax or ask for help on a coding forum like this one.
