    exec without output

Is there a way to execute a command on linux without waiting for output? I just want to execute a file and let the php file keep going.

    Possible? Thanks,

If you are not worried about the output; why not execute the linux command at the end of your PHP document?

The command that i want to run is something that doesn't stop outputting until you close it, so the fact that it never finishes hold up the loading of the rest of the page(wont show anything until php is completely finished).
