    simple way to remove double quotes

    hi ,

    Is there any simple function to remove double quotes like

    Code:
    $a = remove_quotes($a);
    or i have to use str_replace function
    Please de-reputate me

    Depends on the string format. Trim can take a second command that allows removal of specific characters so you can delete double quotations around a string. Str_replace is the easiest route otherwise, there is nothing special about a double quote so it doesn't really warrant a function of its own. Just make one if you need it and file it away for extension scripts!
