    Really need some basic help

    I have a web page produced from a PHP file the resultant html is:

    <div class='eventdesclarge'><p><br />
    Do you need help?<br />
    </p><br />
    <p><br />
    Come and find out about how a Wayfinder can direct you to the services you need.<br />
    </p><br />
    <p><br />
    This event is a coffee morning and chat with your local Wayfinder person.<br />
    .
    .
    </div>

    Do you see all thos Breaks? Well the part of the PHP file is:

    <!-- BEGIN result_row -->
    <tr class="tableb" style="height: 30px">
    <td class='tableb' colspan="2" valign='middle'>
    <!-- <img src='$mosConfig_live_site/components/com_jcalpro/images/spacer.gif' width='1' height='8' alt='' /><br />
    --> <div class='eventdesclarge'>{EVENT_DESC}</div>

    </td>
    </tr>
    <!-- END result_row -->

    Could some tell me what {EVENT_DESC} is and what to look for next. Is it a function or variable. The only thing in the DB is the <p>...</p>. I need toeliminate the <br /> bits soI have less gaps.

    Thanks.

    Is this in a heredoc block? Post more of the PHP code so we can see whats going on. By itself the part you posted is simply HTML. EVENT_DESC could be a constant but I'm not sure.
    Most of my questions/posts are fairly straightforward and simple. I post long verbose messages in an attempt to be thorough.

    Yeah post more PHP code. All of that junk is HTML (which may have been generated by PHP).

    Why do you keep posting this in threads you reply to?
