    Accessing my.cnf

I am trying to reach this file, to allow innodb. I see a file labeled "my" in mysql/bin, but it says speeddial underneath, and I have no way of opening it.

Just in case anyone has found this thread via search engine. The my file is the my.cnf file. Under some Windows installations (those with NetMeeting) files with the cnf extension are opened with msconf.dll.

You can open the my.cnf with notepad. (File > Open)*
*you have to change "Files of Type" from .txt to All Files.

Or you can open notepad, then click and drag the my.cnf into the notepad window.
Most of my questions/posts are fairly straightforward and simple. I post long verbose messages in an attempt to be thorough.
