Hi guys, i got a major issue which i m unable to solve despite looking at my scripts for flaws or maybe cos i m totally new in this. My guess wil be bcos of session cookies but not sure how to handle this

1- when i try to log in at my index.php entering the pass n username, it stay on the same page.

2- even without goin in the index.php i m able to go in to play.php which also i can see my admin panel.

The error log i trace showing : error.txt

    The index.php script is as : index.txt

I have checked upon sql link to server using the correct password n username.

I have two sites using this script which also the same problem at first and one of my friend manage to get it right. Now he is missing n i m stuck.

    My cpanel info:
    Apache version 1.3.39 (Unix)

Your error log shows a bunch of notices being generated from setup.php and play.php... nothing from index.php.

I don't know the script but is very clear looking into error.txt you posted, that your problem is the setup. From index.txt you posted and error.txt, line 2, I guess you must setup username and password in html.php.
Probably you have more setting to do to make this work.

    I hope this help you.

    best regards

    Hi,

Yes it is in i hope correctly. The same script i m able to use for other two game but my friend kinda fine tune it. I check still i cant find where to find that. My guess will be somehow to create some sort of session cookie to auth user to login. If i taken off the tracing error in my script, the error log of my cpanel will returns no error. This is becos i at first put a show log:- <?php error_reporting(E_ALL) ?> in my script.

from cpanel you can access with filemanager and edit, if you have proper access rights, any file ( more corect is allmost any file) on your site.
Be aware that you can create a big mess if you don't know what you are doing.

    best regards

Yes, i have the rights to edit files, so far what i do is i simply dl the scripts from my game to this new game and change the links to point to new domain and sql linking. Maybe my php is not linking to my sql but i checked in setup.php the username and password is correct for my sql

If anyone is interested, i can loan my cpanel access for them to hav a better look and help to guide me to solve the problem.

    Thanks
