I'm working on a project where I would like to set up single-sign on between several completely different systems - some of which I don't have complete control over.

I've seen some posts around the internet that suggest I may be able to pull this off using curl - using curl to provide a username & password to each of the sub-systems, (assuming I have all of the usernames & passwords already), and then somehow passing the session information on to the browser - without having to resort to using a proxy.

If this works it could, (theoretically, perhaps with a bit of customization), be extended to any site on the Internet that requires you to sign in.

Does anyone know if this is possible, or am I dreaming here?

Thanks,

John
