    Get Messages from Hotmail

    Hi,

I need to make a script that gets the last few messages, (or last few unread if that's the only option I have), from a Hotmail, (MSN, Windows Live Mail), account.

I know it's not going to be easy - they don't offer POP access, for instance, but I also have seen it done, (Look at NetVibes - http://www.netvibes.com to see).

So, the question is, what's the best way to do this? I can't find anything at dev.live.com about how I would start. Should I simply use PHP to log in and do some screen scraping, or is there a better way?

Also, I will need to figure out the same problem for AOL Mail, but I figured I'd start with Hotmail.

    Thanks,

    John

I don't know if its the best way.....but I'd probably use cURL and then parse the page. I'm pretty sure that Hotmail is valid XHTML so you could use a XML parser.
Most of my questions/posts are fairly straightforward and simple. I post long verbose messages in an attempt to be thorough.
