    You'll find the PHP manual to be very helpful when figuring out the basics. Start with the tutorial, specifically the "Dealing with Forms" section.

    Use $_POST

    $_POST[] is an array containing all the input values submited in a form.

    here is an example code of what i think you are trying to do:

    PHP Code:
    <?php
    if(isset($_POST['btnSubmit'])){
    echo
    "Your name is: ".$_POST['name'];

    //You can also define a variable from $_POST. example:
    $email $_POST['email'];
    echo
    "Your email is: ".$email;
    }
    ?>

    <html>
    <body>
    <form name="formname" method="post">
    Name: <input name="name" type="text"><br>
    Email: <input name="email" type="text"><br>
    <input name="btnSubmit" type="submit" value=" GO! ">
    </form>
    </body>
    </html>
    Hope this helps!!
