    how to reset session variables in an iframe from javascript

    hi all,
    i have a php page [TransactionCertificate.php] where i have an iframe [scr=Unit.php]. in that iframe, there is a session variable of array type. there is a textbox in the parent page [TransactionCertificate.php]. now what i want is, that if any values is present in the textbox then the session variable should be unset().
    how will i accomplish this?

    If you aren't submitting the form on the main page you would have to use Javascript to either send an AJAX request or submit a form in the IFrame.

    i had to use AJAX and unset the variable as you said. its working absolutely fine. Thanks for your extended help
