    login form using a function

is there a way to handle submit on a login form to make the action call a php function? because I have all kinds of functions that I have wrote and I was going to make a handle page for each update, add, delete. I was wondering if there is away to call those functions using action. Suggestions?

If you mean after you submit the form you can use an action that includes what you want to do on the next page: page.php?do=function
Or you can use ajax if you don't want to reload the page, or just want to use php to process something that Javascript can't.

Just set the value of your submit button differently for each action then use a switch to determine which function to call.
