    PHP-less Blog Viewing

I recently was asked to move a website from my personal host to a school server (the site is school related). Unfortunately the new server does not have PHP installed on it, nor will it in the immediate future (I asked the administrator). This is a problem because the site Iím moving has a Wordpress blog on one of its pages that we would like to continue to use. Since it seems like moving the blog is out of the question, I was hoping there would be someway to gets its contents displayed onto the site new site, without using frames if possible. Like I said, Iím really just concerned with displaying the posts on the new site; it doesnít have to have the full functionality of a blog (we can go to the old site to makes posts). Any help is appreciated.

No PHP? I guess you could use ASP... or CF... but I know of no way to do this without using frames or a server side language. Why doesn't the admin want to install PHP? It takes 5 minutes.

Apparently, the server is not a dedicated web server. We're the only webpages it's hosting and they basically just gave us a folder and FTP access. As such, the administrator doesn't want to install things as PHP, ASP, etc etc. I think its more an IT bureaucratic red tap problem than a technical issue, but unfortunately that was the hand we were dealt.

That said, is there any thing I can do from the other server (the one hosting the blog right now) to make it work? Maybe a script or something the pulls all the recent posts puts them into a text file thats referenced by the new website?

wget -m http://some.other.site creates a mirror of some.other.site in the directory you run it from. Check the wget man page or google for other options; in particular I think you may need -k to rewrite the links to not refer to the old server. You can just run it again to update or if the admins will let you, add it as an infrequent scheduled task.
