    to do list

    Hi,

Am making a web based to do list in order to keep myself organised and see stats of what I have done and need doing at the end of the week. Am also doing this to learn more on how php and mysql can work together.

I have done almost everything apart from the stats at the end of each week. As am unsure on how to get php to count how many jobs need doing and also count how many have been marked as done. I then need this to be refreshed each week but some how have the old stats logged away some where.

    Thanks

Im guessing at MYSQL database, just dont delete it from table, add a field called something like..
done then change it to true when its done, then to see all the jobs you have done
    Code:
SELECT * FROM 'todo' WHERE 'done' = 'true'
    or similar
im not too good with php but seems thats how it could be done

You could also store the count in a table and just update it once a week.
