    Perl login problem

    Hi,

    I am new to perl script. I have created a login using perl/cgi script. It is running via apache server. I have set the default page in apache as login page.
    Url: http://ipadressort. Whenever user tries to see the website its asks for the authetication. But i am facing a problem in
    authentication, suppose when user tries to use the Url:http://ipadressort/home.html it directly redirects to the home page
    without asking for the login details. I need it to redirect to the login page. So someone please help me to resolve this issue?

    How are you handling the authentication?

    Are you using .htaccess files? If so, that's the wrong approach. You should be using sessions. CGI::Session - persistent session data in CGI applications

    You need to post your code and explain what you expect it to do and how it's failing to do what you expect.
