Logstats Script problem for Firefox
I've a logclick.cgi script to log stats of the page. The script works fine for IE (Internet Explorer). It will log exactly how many clicks the page has been clicked. But for some reason, it does not work too well for Firefox. It will log twice the amount of clicks.
The script is activated by a call of image on the page like so:
<IMG src="/cgi-bin/logclick.cgi" width="1" height="1">
As I said, the script works well for IE (Internet Explorer). If the page is clicked once, it will log 1 click.
However, it does not work well for Firefox, it will log twice the amount of clicks, i.e. if the page is clicked once, it will log 2 clicks.
It would appear that Firefox will activate the above image call twice every time the page is clicked??
Any idea how to fix this Firefox problem?
