Question Basic E-Mail Form Script Question

    Hi guys and gals,

I have been working with cgi scripts for about 2 months now.
All I really know how to do is install them and edit small parts of the script them self's.

I have a form script I use to let new members of my site send me their user information.

I also use a 2nd script for password protection.

My problem is that the first script (the form script) only e-mails the output of the form to me and does not write it to a txt file on the server. I would like to know how I can get the form script to write the username, password, and e-mail address the new member inputs in the form to the txt file the password protection scripts reads from so they will not have to fill out both forms before they join my program.

If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it much!!!

    Thank you,
    Confused

Could you post the scripts perhaps? This shouldn't be too hard to do, just need to hack the scripts around a bit..

    Post Thanks for the reply...

I would rather not post the script here. I paid for the script and I am not allowed to give it out. The person I got it from has moved and I have no way of contacting them.

If you could contact me we could work on it and I will compensate you for your time.
