    error with my sql dbi query

    HI,

    I have just noticed an error when I run a web page in IE6. works perfectly well, for ages in FF.

    here is the error and I ask what it means and what I need to do about it.

    Code:
    DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_7265_0.MYI' (Errcode: 28) at mainpage line 550.
    For help, please send mail to the webmaster ...

    OK, it turns out that the /tmp directory had tons of files in it, and even though it was not full, it only started to work, once a few files had been removed.

    So, new question..

    should the files created in the tmp dir be deleted as each script/query completes? Maybe I should just empty it once every 24 hrs or so?
