Looking for someone to write simple JavaScript menu for me...

    Hi all!

I've downloaded and insalled trials of 8 programs for making JavaScript and DHTML menus and they're all either too complicated or won't do what I want.

I want it to very simply:
    - When I mouse over an image it shows a drop down menu (I just put onmouseover="activate_menu("menuName");" onmouseout="deactivate_menu("menuName");") and I want the following to happen
    - onmouseover it brings up a popup menu immediately with a width of 180px an image at the top, a bgimage for the menu items, and an image at the bottom
    - onmouseout it waits 3 seconds then closes the menu

Each menu item should be just done with text and the bgimage for that menu item should change when the mouse is placed over it. It should be Verdana,Arial for font and 10pt for font size and black normal text when not moused over and white bold text when moused over. The text should be 4px from the left side of the menu and 2px from the top and bottom of each menu item. So yeah, very simple compared to most of the options out there.

As for pay. The code will be used for the menus in a client billing and support management system for web hosting and web design companies which will go on sale at $199.99 a piece on February 7th 2005. You will get one free copy of the software with support and updates for 12 months. I need this done by the end of today if possible. Please contact me via email max@tappenden.net AIM ServerCircle or MSN max@servercircle.com if you're interested or for more info.

    Thanks
    Max

Are you serious? If you want someone to write software that you're going to resell as part of your application, you should be offering a significant programming fee (in the region of $1000, at least) or a profit-share / redistribution licensing arrangement.

I can take this project on, but that's the kind of money I want.

That's pretty pathetic for 30 lines of JS which will be used for a *THEME* that is distrobuted with the software.

Yes, but it'll be coming with software people have paid for, it's perfectly fair.
