    FormMail Script

Ok, I know there are a TON of formmail scripts out there but after spending the last few hours looking at several ones that sounded ok, none suited my needs.

I know a bit of PHP myself but would rather get someone else to write this script that is a little more experienced, especially with the security concerns that arise from using formmail scripts.

It will be used for dynamic forms, so there is no set certain fields that it will be submitting.

Need it workable with all form fields.

Anyone interested in this? If so, let me know an approx. price quote & time period if possible.

    I can pay by paypal.

    Thanks!

for a fully dynamic script, with the security-constraints that you might have and that are technically possible : €500 (including documentation, testing and free bugfixing during a limited period)
i can write this within 7 days of getting your requirements, acceptance criteria and an initial payment (€ 100).

i'm sure there will be plenty of others that will do it for free or for a lott less, but given your very rudimental description, i just assume your requirements might be quite high.

Thanks for the response Raf, but that is way over what I wanted to spend on a formmail script.

Basically all the script does is:

    - Reads in all the form fields
    - Sends the results off to the supplied email address
    - Redirects to a specified success/thank you page

I will be adding custom code in to pull the email address to send to.... how this works is in the form submit page I will have a user ID field with the ID of the user & then when the form submits I pull the email for that user into a variable & then assign that as the email address to send the results to.

The only security check I think that is necassary is to check the referring URL is mine; but I also wouldn't wanna be denying users who send blank referrers so I gather we would allow them to pass through.

Fair enough. Like i said, there will be plenty of people doing it for less money.

To do what you describe, you need about 10 lines of code. To make is secure and to add some formprocessing and errorhandling, it'll soon be 200-300 lines of code...
