    Actually, for this position, in a secondary school in this area, that's quite a competitive wage. All we’re really asking for is some solid web design skills, and some decent people skills, with any extras anyone has welcome as a bonus.

    On the upside you’d also know you’re working in a secure public sector environment with a good team (and me).

    I’ve seen adverts asking for an AWFUL lot more for an AWFUL lot less on some IT recruitment sites, and they usually demand specific paper qualifications too.

    Hmm, well I imagine for secondary school it would be an excellent choice for experience and portfolio build... and since I'm not used to the area, I probably put my foot in my mouth on that one things are different here... and your government sector looks a little more pleasant than mine, I must admit
