Would the surfing lessons also include airfare? If so, I'm interested!

    We are E.Create Website Design

We develop accessible, stylish, unique websites for small businesses at a (comparatively) affordable rate for our market here in Perth, Western Australia. We will soon be offering branding & corporate identity design services, hosting, email and a few other things (I'd rather not give too much away). We also enjoy long walks on the beach, a deep and meaningful conversation about wild flowers, and the occasional Nintendo Wii drinking game.

Above all, we aim to be the best... in every area of small business web development. But at the same time, have alot of fun!

I'm currently looking for a passionate Javascript programmer and a Flash/Actionscripter with a graphic design foundation to join the development team - on a part time contract basis, from wherever they may be located on this planet. (We no longer accept applicants from Omicron Persei 8)

I've been getting a great response from my forum posts when looking for new team members in the past - but a little tip for anyone planning on emailing me ... don't be boring! Show me you have some character. Most people who email me have the same X number of years experience with the same technologies and the same uninteresting portfolio. I doubt I'll ever see a portfolio that dazzles and impresses me enough that you'd be hired on that basis alone.

Also, don't email me if you represent a company and want to "establish a long term business partnership".

Unfortunately, not at this time - but I assure you, my grandmother has been surfing for more than 4 years and she's usually sober when conducting lessons.

Out of curiosity I looked up the average min/max temps of Perth and from that data alone I've gone ahead and sold my house and family, bought a one-way ticket to Perth, and will be arriving in about a week. Can I get a ride from the airport?

Oh yeah, and can I have a job?

Man it's hot there in the winter. But really cold in the summer! Strange.

... I've gone ahead and sold my house and family,
    You sold your family?

Oh yeah, and can I have a job?
I don't know if I'd be comfortable working with someone who can so easily cast aside their family.

But if you're good with mootools, I'd reconsider my position on family-selling.

It's definately not cold in summer, nor is it warm in winter.

You do realise Western Australia is in the southern hemisphere? Christmas time typically means bbq, beach cricket, drunk grandmothers, and a really hot day, (ie. summer).

Hold on hold on. What is this "southern hemisphere" thing you're speaking of? Is that like underneath the earth? Is that before or after you fall off the edge?

    21st century and Earth 3.01

Actually, that view of the earth is deprecated. That's, like so Earth 1.0. It's true, for a while there, earth had an edge, but then it was round for quite some time. I believe the current version is somewhat egg shaped with the southern hemisphere getting short shrift.

I'm interested. What is the project about? How can I make sure you won't run away the minute I complete the work?
And what if I'm not familiar with mootools and have all the other skills?
