    [HIRING] Need new home page....

I'd like to hire someone to create a new home page for my gaming website (www.vivamexclan.com).

You don't have to start from scratch or reinvent the wheel (see samples below). I'll provide all the necessary source code, javascripts, cssfiles, images, reference links, etc,. I basically just need someone to put the samples below into a template (index.html) so I can go in later on and just add my content.

If I still have your attention, here's what I envision: A more diverse/versatile home page that doesn't stick to just one topic (ie, my clan)...not only does that get boring after a while, but that's the main reason why clansites don't last long.

1.) I want to use dynamic content boxes like the samples below to add rss feeds, world news, gaming news, funny stuff, serious stuff, etc.,...similar to the ones on yahoo.com. If you can duplicate the ones on yahoo.com, even better...I can provide cssfiles/javascripts from yahoo site.
    Sample: Dynamic content box
Sample: Yahoo Div boxes in center of page with Featured, Entertainment, Sports, etc.

2.) I'd like to take the navigation menu, banner, and search boxes from my current home page and combine them into one, similar to these:
    Sample:Mercurynews.com navigation menu
    Sample: Drop-line menu at cssplay.co.uk
**NOTE** My current search box has a dropdown box in it that allows you to choose the search engine....I'd like to implement that same dropdown box into the new banner/menu as well as add "forum" to the list so people can also search my forum....except if "forum" is selected, i'd like two more options to appear that will give them the choice to searth forum Topics or forum Posts.

3.) Forum integration...I'd like for my members to be able to sign into the forum directly from the home page. The Log-In box will actually be "mini-tabbed pages" or "div boxes" like these:
    Sample:mini-tabbed pages
    Sample:yahoo log-in box

I'll need for both the home page and forum to utilize the same mysql database so users can login directly from the home page. I'd also like to display certain parts of my forum onto the home page, like Latest Discussions, Board Stats, Polls. similar to what I currently have.

Final product may look something like this:

If you are willing to do this for me, please provide me with a reasonable quote.
I have no idea how much this should cost.
My budget is not bottomless but I will pay for good work.

    Requirements:
*must be cross-browser compliant (at least IE6, IE7, FF, Mac)
*must have previous experience as well as a portfolio with past sample sites/templates/scripts or anything else useful.
Please list any website samples, forum posts, mod scripts, html templates or anything else you think is relevant to your previous experience.

    Thanks

You can respond to this post...i'll check it frequently...or you can pm me! Thanks

No I think it was more along the lines of no one wanting to take the job because the OP wasn't paying enough for it.
