Converting from Coldfusion to regular asp

Hi I don't know how many Coldfusion experts there are in here but I figured I'd ask this anyway. How hard is it to convert a coldfusion site to just regular asp? Is it replacing the coldfusion tags with asp code? Thanks for any advice on this

It's not hard, you need to know both languages though, just replace things like <cfif> with if then, etc

I normally go from asp to cold fusion

It is a server-side language that is owned by Macromedia and is tag based. It used to be much more popular back like 10 years ago before ASP and PHP were really any good. Now days you don't see it as much since it costs quite a bit to run on your server however there is still a lot of old stuff written in it.

As far as converting it, you will pretty much have to re-write everything but most of the basic ideas are the same.
